‘Did not want that Virat-Rohit…’ Yograj Singh’s big statement on the announcement of Team India for Champions Trophy

Yograj Singh Reacts on Team India Champions Trophy Squad: Former Indian cricketer and Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj reacted to Team India’s squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 and said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the selectors have Have supported. Earlier on Saturday, chief selector Ajit Agarkar and captain Rohit Sharma held a press conference to announce the 15-member squad for the Champions Trophy 2025 and the ODI series against England.

Speaking to ANI, Yograj Singh said that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli should not be dropped from the team due to their poor form. He said that if Rohit and Rohit are dropped, the team will disintegrate. He also praised BCCI for the selection of the team. Yograj Singh told ANI, “I want to congratulate the BCCI and the selectors who supported the team. I have always said that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli should not be removed, if you remove them then your team will disintegrate.

We may have lost in Australia but we should not forget that we have defeated them in two matches. I was worried that 5-6 people should not be removed (not Shubman or Virat), (Yograj Singh on Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli) so I was supporting them. I think this is the best thing, I want to congratulate the board and the think tank, the selectors, I appreciate these people.”
