Mumbai:
There is confusion over who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Meanwhile, there is a lot of discussion about a post by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The question is arising that what is in the mind of Eknath Shinde? Is he using pressure mechanisms to remain the Chief Minister? However, while posting on X, he has appealed to his supporters not to gather together at Varsha Bungalow. While posting, he wrote that after the big victory of Mahayuti, our government will be formed once again in the state. We fought the elections together as a grand alliance and are together even today.
He wrote that out of love for me, some groups have appealed to everyone to gather together and come to Mumbai. I am very grateful for your love. But I appeal that no one should unite in my support like this.
After the great victory of Mahayutichi, our government will be established once again in the state. As Mahayuti, we have come together to fight the elections and are still gathered today. Some groups that are close to me have appealed to everyone to gather together and come to Mumbai. I am deeply indebted to you for your love…

He further wrote that once again it is my humble request that Shiv Sena workers should not gather at Varsha Niwas or anywhere else. The grand alliance has been and will remain strong for a strong and prosperous Maharashtra.
Mahayuti has won 230 seats
The ‘Mahayuti’ alliance of Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, BJP and Ajit Pawar-led NCP retained power in the recently concluded Maharashtra Assembly elections by winning 230 out of 288 seats, while the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) got only 46 seats.
- BJP has got 132 seats.
- Shinde led Shiv Sena won 57 seats.
- Ajit Pawar led NCP has won 41 seats.
Meanwhile, amidst talk of Fadnavis becoming the Chief Minister for the third time, various Shiv Sena leaders made statements that Shinde should continue in the post, as the huge victory as Chief Minister has been achieved under his leadership. According to sources, she will offer the post of Deputy CM to Shinde and Ajit Pawar. Discussion is going on as to which ministries should be given to both of them.
Shinde can resign today
Let us tell you that today is the last day of the current Maharashtra Assembly. Therefore, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde can resign after meeting the Governor. Till now no decision has been taken in the Grand Alliance regarding the name of the Chief Minister, hence the Governor can let him remain the acting Chief Minister for the next few days. If BJP sources are to be believed, it may take a few more days for the name of the Chief Minister to be finalized and the oath taking ceremony. It is quite possible that the decision and oath taking ceremony may take place on 29-30 November.
