Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal is on fast unto death from 26 November 2024.
Today is the 57th day of the fast unto death of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal on the Khanauri border of Punjab-Haryana. On Monday evening, the doctors taking care of Dallewal at Khanauri border issued a medical bulletin saying that his health is now improving after taking medical aid from Saturday night.

Super specialist doctors are checking him from time to time. 8 senior doctors are present at the front. Doctors are trying to improve his health before the meeting with the Center on February 14.
Kisan Mazdoor Morcha convenor Sarwan Singh Pandher said that according to the report of Dr. Swayman Singh, Dallewal has been requested to start catering, so that he can attend the meeting on February 14.
Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher had postponed the Delhi march scheduled for today by holding a press conference on Monday.
Farmers’ tractor demonstration on 26 January
United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha have announced to take out tractor march across the country on 26 January. Farmer leaders said that on January 26, from 12 noon to 1:30 pm, farmers will park their tractors in front of malls, toll plazas, BJP offices or on the roadside. Any one of the above locations will be selected for the demonstration as per local conditions.
Farmer leaders warned that if the government took disciplinary action against any folk artist supporting the farmers’ movement, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha would stand by them like a rock.

Delhi march scheduled for today postponed
Sarwan Singh Pandher had announced to march to Delhi today i.e. on 21 January. However, after the proposal for talks came from the Centre, he postponed it on January 20. The decision on Delhi march will be taken after the tractor march on 26th January.
Pandher says that there is a demand from the government that the meeting should be held soon. There is too much time. The venue of the meeting should be New Delhi, because this is the demand of the farmers of the country. If the government has announced the budget, then why are farmers not talking? Efforts for unity are going on with the United Kisan Morcha. Unity is not easy to happen immediately.
Union ministers will also attend the meeting
On January 16, Joint Secretary of Agriculture and Welfare Department Priyaranjan had reached Khanauri border along with other central officials. Here he met farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal. He also invited the farmers for a meeting in Chandigarh on 14 February.
After the meeting, Priyaranjan said that the Center is concerned about the health of Dallewal who is on fast unto death. We have come here so that a way can be found. We hope that Dallewal will end his fast soon and attend the meeting. At the same time, it has become clear that Union Ministers will also attend this meeting.
