The relations between India and China are not better for some time, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that he hopes for better relations with the neighboring country. If PM Modi took a step, then China also seems to be soft. In response to a question related to Indian Prime Minister Modi’s recent statement on China-India relations, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said that Prime Minister Modi has recently shown a positive attitude on China India relations. China appreciates it and waits for a harmonious dance between the Chinese dragon and the Indian elephant with concrete steps.
China, India’s friendship more than 2 thousand years old
A Chinese spokesperson said that last October, President Xi Chinfing had met Prime Minister Modi in Kazan, who gave strategic guidance for the reform and development of China and India relations. At present, both sides have strengthened the exchange and practical cooperation of various levels by implementing important similarities of the leaders of both countries with seriousness. The spokesperson said that the friends of China and India are more than two thousand years old. Friendship movement and mutual learning are seen in the history of exchange between the two countries, which has contributed significantly to world civilization and human progress. As the two biggest developing countries, the same function of the two countries is to develop their respective countries. Both sides should help in mutual understanding, support and success of each other. It matches the basic interests of more than 280 crore people of both countries. Global is in accordance with the historical stream of strengthening of the south and is beneficial for world peace, stability, development and prosperity.

Elephant and dragon is the only option
A Chinese spokesperson emphasized that China is ready to pursue the two -country relations on track on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations this year by trying equally with India. Mao reiterated the statement of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, saying, ‘Both countries should become a partner who contributes to each other’s success. ‘Hathi’ (India) and ‘Dragon’ (China) is the only correct option for the relationship between the two countries.
What did PM Modi say with China?
Prime Minister Modi had said in his podcast that the general position has returned to the India-China border after his recent conversation with President Xi to reduce the tension arising out of the clashes between the forces of the two countries in Eastern Ladakh. Adopting an optimistic stance towards relations between two most populous countries in the world, Modi said that differences between neighbors are natural and they emphasized ancient cultural relations between them when both civilizations learned from each other and had very little struggle between them. PM Modi said that the purpose of his efforts is to ensure that their differences do not change in controversy and insist on dialogue rather than controversy. He said that both countries had once contributed more than 50 percent to the global GDP (GDP). The Prime Minister said, “Our cooperation is not only beneficial (mutually), but is also necessary for global peace and prosperity.”
