Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Wednesday said half of the employees in Delhi government offices will work from home (WFH) in view of the pollution levels in the national capital.
Rai said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ that 50 percent of the employees in government offices will work from home. He said that a meeting will be held with the officials during the day to implement this provision.
Earlier, the government had announced separate timetables for its offices and MCDs.
The timings of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) offices were fixed from 8.30 am to 5 pm, while the timings of Delhi government offices were fixed from 10 am to 6.30 pm.
