Newdunia Representative, Indore: There is talk of taking steps towards making clean Indore healthy Indore, but on the other hand diseases are increasing among the citizens. Shocking figures have appeared in the ongoing body campaign in the city.
20 percent of people in the age group of 30 years and above have high blood pressure, diabetes i.e. every fifth person in Indore is suffering from these diseases. The townspeople are not aware of their health. Nutritious diets do not consume and exercise.
Non-alcohol fatty liver patients
These figures have come up in two days under the campaign started on February 20. This campaign will run on 30 March. Apart from this, patients with non-alcohol fatty liver have also appeared.
Free treatment of these patients will be done by the Health Department. It is special that whatever patients have come out, they did not know that they had any disease.
Explain that this campaign is being run across the country, through this, we are finding out which disease is more among the people. Also, according to the increasing diseases in the coming days, the budget will also be increased by the Central Government regarding the health sector.
Diseases released in 957 people out of 4629
According to the data, 4629 people have been examined by high blood pressure, diabetes and non-alcoholic on Thursday and Friday. Of these, 957 people have got diseases.
On Thursday, 616 people were examined, out of which 118 patients have high blood pressure, 82 patients diabetes and six patients have got fatty liver. 84 patients have both high and diabetes.
On Friday, 4013 people have been investigated, out of which 416 patients have been found of high -hearted, 330 patients and five patients of fatty liver. 146 patients have both high and diabetes. These people came to the district hospital, primary health centers, they were investigated here.
Camps will be organized in medical college and private hospital
Under the campaign, camps will now be organized in medical colleges and private hospitals to investigate more people. Camps will also be held from Monday at MGM Medical College’s MY Hospital, Index Medical College and Aurobindo Hospital. The Health Department has prepared for this.
Most of the people suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, who were revealed in the investigation, did not know that they had any disease. Treatment of these patients has started.
