Technology has progressed a lot in the last few years. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now taking over the world as smart technology. Artificial Intelligence derived from technology is now present in our homes in the form of voice assistants and on the roads in the form of automatic cars. The most important technology reform after social media has taken place in the form of AI. PM Narendra Modi often talks about reforms in technology and adoption of AI. He has said that the present and future of the world is linked to AI. In such a situation, the question is how important is AI in PM Modi’s goal of making India developed by 2047? How can it help achieve this goal? In an exclusive interview with NDTV, former Finance Commission Chairman NK Singh has answered these questions.

During this, former Finance Commission Chairman NK Singh said, “PM Modi has a different mindset regarding technology. We are currently in the most advanced technology era. Today even an ordinary student studies Artificial Intelligence. How can it be affected by governance, education?” , should be used in health… there is a need to think about it.”
The path to progress will emerge only through reform.
He said, “In the coming days, work will have to be done on all these subjects in order to make India developed. If improvements are made in these matters, then India’s progress is certain in the coming days. Also, in these efforts, in 2047 There will also be a momentum towards the country becoming a developed India.”
Opportunities for gainful employment will have to be created
NK Singh said, “I look at education reform from a different perspective. We are acquiring technology. We are moving towards Artificial Intelligence (AI). But will it benefit employment? Will new jobs be created? Both these For things to happen, we first have to change the existing education system and convert it into education, technology and gainful employment.”
He further says, “We are seeing that AI is doing such work, which earlier ordinary people used to do. In such a situation, we need to think about what other work these people should do, which will be useful for the country and for themselves. Must be beneficial for income.”
The need of the hour is to improve demographic management.
NK Singh said, “I believe that we will convert the lack of demographic management and increase in population into replacement rate in the coming days. This is the need of the hour. Looking at the current ratio, it is necessary that every year the growth rate -There should be opportunities for new jobs. Such employment opportunities which are beneficial.”
Jobs will also be generated through AI
He said, “Generating gainful employment in today’s advanced technology with AI is a big challenge. Education, health, agriculture reforms depend on it. If we reform keeping these things in focus, then all these There can be co-ordination and jobs will also be generated.”
