Exclusive: How will AI help in fulfilling PM Modi’s ‘Vision 2047’? Former Chairman of Finance Commission NK Singh replied

The most important technology reform after social media has taken place in the form of AI. PM Narendra Modi often talks about reforms in technology and adoption of AI. He has said that the present and future of the world is linked to AI. In such a situation, the question is how important is AI in PM Modi’s goal of making India developed by 2047? How can it help achieve this goal? In an exclusive interview with NDTV, former Finance Commission Chairman NK Singh has answered these questions.

Opportunities for gainful employment will have to be created
NK Singh said, “I look at education reform from a different perspective. We are acquiring technology. We are moving towards Artificial Intelligence (AI). But will it benefit employment? Will new jobs be created? Both these For things to happen, we first have to change the existing education system and convert it into education, technology and gainful employment.”

He further says, “We are seeing that AI is doing such work, which earlier ordinary people used to do. In such a situation, we need to think about what other work these people should do, which will be useful for the country and for themselves. Must be beneficial for income.”

NK Singh said, “I believe that we will convert the lack of demographic management and increase in population into replacement rate in the coming days. This is the need of the hour.
