Police murdered by showing fake match

Police story became false in CBI investigation

During the investigation, the CBI found that the police of the police station Chheharrata falsely implicated Deba and Lakkha in the murder of the minister’s son. The one who was murdered on 23.7.1992 and after that on 12.9.1992, the Chheharrata police showed the arrest of Baldev Singh alias Deba in that murder case and both were killed on 13.9.1992 and the police threatened the story that weapons and balls -An encounter with terrorists took place while taking Baldev Singh alias Deba to village Sansara to recover barud.

It was killed Baldev Singh alias Deba and an attacker, which was later identified as Lakhwinder Singh alias Lakkha alias Ford. The CBI concluded that both were picked up, kept in illegal custody and then killed in fake encounter.

Police polls open in post mortem

The CBI also found that there was no entry in the log book about the visit of police vehicles on the alleged incident of the encounter shown by the police. Even the police also showed that the unidentified assailant terrorist killed during the encounter was identified by the injured Baldev Singh Deba. 19 witnesses have died

On 30.8.1999, CBI filed a charge sheet for kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, murder, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, murder, false records against SS Sidhu, Harbhajan Singh, Mohinder Singh, Purushottam Lal, Chaman Lal, Gurbhinder Singh, Mohan Singh, Purushottam Singh and Jassa Singh. . But the statements of the witnesses were recorded after 2022. Because during this period the case was postponed on the orders of the High Courts.

Sarabjit Singh Verka, a lawyer of the victim’s family, said that although the CBI had cited 37 witnesses in the case, only 19 witnesses have been recorded during the trial as most of the witnesses made by the CBI die during the delayed hearing. Went and finally got justice 32 years after the incident.

Similarly, during this delayed trial, accused Harbhajan Singh, Mohinder Singh, Purushottam Lal, Mohan Singh and Jassa Singh also died and accused SS Sidhu then DSP, Amritsar, Chaman Lal then CIA Incharge, Amritsar, Gurbhinder Singh then SHO PS Majitha and ASI Purushottam Singh faced trial in the case.
