Agra district police have registered an FIR and arrested five people including the manager, but the operators are Neeraj Aggarwal, Pankaj Aggarwal and Brijesh Aggarwal of Mainawali street of Gwalior along with other people from Gwalior.

According to the police, investigation of the packets revealed that fake desi ghee was sold directly in the fast food markets of more than two dozen cities of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Assam and Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Dosa, Bhalla, Samosas and omelettes were also made from this ghee.

144 kg expired vegetable recovered

The accused used to connect small shopkeepers directly through their network. These goods were delivered after receiving the order. Agra DCP City Suraj Kumar Rai said that the team is conducting raids in Gwalior to arrest the absconding factory owners named in the case. Police had recovered 144 kg of expired vegetable from the factory during the raid.

Neeraj and Brijesh used to run business through WhatsApp

Neeraj Aggarwal and Brajesh Aggarwal sitting in Gwalior were running their entire business through WhatsApp. If he is caught, detailed information about the supply chain will be available during interrogation. Till now, the police have arrested factory manager Rajesh Bhardwaj, employees Shivcharan, Bhaskar Gautam, Ravi Manjhi, resident of Madhoganj, Gwalior, Dharmendra Singh, resident of Sagar, and sent them to jail.
