fateh movie review: There is a long list of such actors in the industry, who have been handling the responsibility of direction along with acting. From Raj Kapoor to Ajay Devgan, there have been many examples of this. This Friday, Sonu Sood’s name has also been added to this list from the film Fateh. Along with acting in this film, Sonu Sood has also taken the responsibility of writing and directing it. The subject of this film, made on the theme of cyber crime, is unique. But the weak screenplay has not allowed the film to be effective. Sonu Sood has given the foundation to the film with his action and tremendous screen presence, due to which this film can be watched once.
The story of the war against cyber crime
The film starts with the Hollywood style action of Fateh (Sonu Sood), but then the story goes back a few months and reaches Moga in Punjab. Fateh is living a simple life in village. He owns a dairy farm, but cyber crimes threaten the lives of people around him, after which Fateh sets out on a mission to end the cyber crime syndicate, accompanied by ethical hacker Khushi (Jacqueline). During this time, it also comes to light that Fateh, who was living a simple life in the village, was once a brave officer of a secret special task force of the country. Will he be successful in this mission also? This is the story ahead.
Advantages and disadvantages of the film
The subject of the film based on cyber crime is contemporary. Social apps that distribute loans have become a death trap for common people. This thing is no longer hidden from anyone. There is also mention of deepfake in the film. In the present times, more films should be made on such subjects so that the common people can become more and more aware. The subject of the film is good, but the writing lacks depth. . There was a need to show the issue of cyber crime in a little more detail, so the emotional aspect related to the script of the film has also not been effective. That bonding has not been established between Nimrat (Shivjyoti) and Fateh that Fateh could leave Moga for him and start a bloody war via Delhi and Dubai and bring all his criminals to death. The more powerful the villain in the film, the more the thrill of the story increases, but this formula has been completely rejected in the screenplay of the film. In the beginning of the film, the characters of Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raj were presented with great glorification, but they had nothing much to do in the story. Which also makes the film weak. The treatment of the film is Hollywood style. The film reminds us of popular Hollywood films in many scenes. There is no denying this. The cinematography of the film is excellent. It is praised for the action sequences of the film. Fast and Furious fame Lee Whittaker is associated with it. There are influences from John Wick to Animal. Talking about songs and music, the length of the film has not been increased by filling it with songs. Honey Singh’s song comes at the end of the film. The background music of the film supports it. The dialogues in this action thriller film are cheeky.
Sonu Sood’s style is like a one man army.
Talking about acting, this film is of Sonu Sood. He has carried this film brilliantly on his shoulders. He looks like a one man army in action scenes. Due to his excellent fitness, he also looks credible in every frame. Jacqueline Fernandez has been seen on screen after a long time. In terms of acting, she has again remained average. Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raaz strengthen the limited arc of their characters with their acting. Dibyendu and Prakash are capable actors, but the story has not done justice to their characters. Shiv Jyoti Has done a good job in its limited screen space. The work of the rest of the characters is fine.
