Kalpana Chawla
New Delhi: The day of February 1 is settled in the heart of the world’s space scientists. Kalpana Chawla of Indian origin was also killed in this accident. Kalpana, who went as a mission expert in Colombia, was born on July 1, 1961 in Karnal, Haryana in India and was the first woman to study at Punjab Engineering College.
