Naiduniya, Bhopal. An example of corruption in the tender process going on in the government departments of Madhya Pradesh has come to light in the capital Bhopal. Here, a company related to human resource supply gave a bribe of Rs 1.25 crore to a female employee working there in the AYUSH department to get a tender worth Rs 60 crore.

When the company did not get the work, he asked for the money back. When the female employee refused to give it, the director of the company that gave the bribe lodged a complaint against the woman in the police station. Now an FIR has been registered against the female employee in Bilkhiriya police station under sections of fraud.

Dharamveer Singh Sengar of Gwalior lodged a complaint

  • Bilkhiriya police station in-charge Umesh Singh said that Dharamveer Singh Sengar, originally from Gwalior, currently lives in Bilkhiriya area. He is the director of Sengar Security Services Company.

  • He had given assurance of allotment of tender to the company by giving high reach in the department. After filling the tender, Dharamveer deposited Rs 15 lakh in Pragati’s bank account on August 14.
  • After this, Pragati asked for the remaining amount for further action to get the tender. On October 11, Dharamveer gave Rs 1 crore 10 lakh in cash to Pragati in front of his two friends Vinod and Vipin Pokhriyal.
  • A total of 11 companies had participated in the tender, but after going through the technical process, the department had selected four companies. This tender was canceled by the department in January 2024.
  • After this, when Dharamveer asked Pragati for his money back, she flatly refused to return it. Later, when Dharamveer put pressure on her, she started hedging, but did not return the amount.
