Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the budget of FY 2025-26 today. This is the first full -time budget of Modi government 3.0. Finance Minister Sitharaman will present the budget for the 8th consecutive time. The Finance Minister presented the Economic Survey in Parliament on Friday. In this, the government has predicted that in the financial year 2025-26, the economy can increase from 6.3 to 6.8 percent. This budget people hope that the government will give them relief from inflation. Domestic expenses have increased due to increasing inflation of food items. At the same time, people are expected to reduce the tax burden on them.

Government opened treasures for farmers

The Finance Minister announced the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana for the farmers. This will be run in 100 districts of the scheme with the help of state governments. These will be the districts of which agricultural productivity is low. This will benefit 1.7 crore farmers.
Along with this, the Finance Minister announced to create a Makhana board for the farmers producing Makhana in Bihar. Its purpose is to help the farmers who cultivate Makhane and increase the yield of Makhana.

In this budget, the government has made these announcements for the farmers. The government’s focus will be on increasing the yield of pulses like lentils, tur (pigeona) for the next 6 years. The government will run a five -year plan to increase cotton yield. This will make the country’s textile industry strong. The government has announced to increase the loan limit from three lakh to five lakh rupees on the Kisan Credit Card. The Minister has announced that special credit cards, 10 lakh cards will be issued to small industries, first year.

Apart from this, the government has announced to set up a urea factory with an annual capacity of 12.7 lakh metric tonnes in the name of Assam. Along with this, the government has claimed to open urea factories closed in the eastern region. The government will support the National Cooperative Development Corporation for providing loans for the cooperative sector.

MSME is the second engine of India’s development

In his budget speech, the Finance Minister described small and micro industries (MSMEs) as the second engine of India’s development. He said that this sector employs seven and a half crore people. He said that the area is 45 percent in the country’s total exports. Its contribution to the construction sector is 36 percent. For MSME, the Finance Minister announced that the investment limit for MSME classification will be increased by 2.5 times. The rich MSME will give confidence to generate employment for the youth.
