In an FIR lodged at Mumbai’s Bandra Police Station, the caretaker working at actor Saif Ali Khan’s house gave a statement to the police that she was working as a caretaker at Saif’s house for the last 5 years. The female caretaker told that she takes care of the younger son of actor Saif Ali Khan. Saif Ali Khan’s family lives on the 12th floor of the building, while there are 3 rooms on the 5th floor, where Saif, Kareena and others live.

According to the caretaker, at around 11 pm on January 15, he fed Saif Ali Khan’s younger son and put him to sleep. After this she went to sleep. Around 2 o’clock in the night some sound came, due to which she woke up. As soon as he woke up from sleep, he saw that the bathroom door was open and the bathroom light was on. She thought that Kareena ma’am must have come to meet her child and then she fell asleep. But he realized something was wrong. Just then someone came into the room. Seeing this, she immediately got up and went to the child and the man said in Hindi, “No sound.” Meanwhile, some people also woke up. The accused also threatened them and said, “No sound.”
The attacker asked for one crore rupees?
The caretaker said the attacker ran towards him carrying a wooden object in his left hand and a long, thin hexa blade in his right hand. During the scuffle he tried to attack them with a blade. When he tried to defend himself by raising his hands, he got wounds near the wrist of both his hands and on the middle finger of his left hand. At that time he asked her, “What do you want?” So he said, “Need money.” He asked, “How many?” Then he said in English, “One crore.”
‘Attack on Saif with hexa blade’
The caretaker told that at that very moment he got the opportunity and ran out of the room screaming. Saif and Kareena madam heard his voice and came running together. When Saif asked, “Isma, who is he? What does he want?” So the man attacked Saif with a wooden object and a hexa blade held in his hand. At the same time when Kareena came inside, the man attacked her too. We all ran out of the room and pulled the door of the room. In the incident, Saif was injured on the back of the neck, near the right shoulder, on the left side of the back and near the wrist and elbow of his left hand and was bleeding.
