Was started to leave home with lover: Kusma was born in Tikri village in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh. At the age of 13, he fell in love with Madhav Mallah, his schoolmate. Both went against their families and ran away from home and reached Delhi. However, Kusma’s father caught him with the help of the police. After this, his father forcibly married him to Kedar Barber. This incident was the first major turn of Kusma’s life, which lit the spark of rebellion in his mind.
Kidnapping by lover and starting robber life: Even after marriage, Madhav could not forget him. He had joined the gang of Vikram Mallah, the notorious bandit of Chambal. One day Madhav reached Kusma’s in -laws with his gang and forcibly abducted her. After this, Kusma joined Vikram Mallah’s gang. This was the second anecdote, which pushed him into the world of crime and laid the foundation of the robber life.
Fabrication with Phoolan Devi and joining Lalaram gang: While living in Vikram Mallah’s gang, a dispute started with Kusma Ka Phoolan Devi. Phoolan and Vikram entrusted him with the task of killing a robber named Lalaram, who was his enemy. But Kusma did not kill Lalaram, but had a love affair with him and joined his gang. Later, he along with Lalaram killed Vikram Mallah. This betrayal and cruelty gave him a strong identity in the gang.
Witnesses In 1996, in Auraiya, Kusma decided to teach two people, Santosh and Rajbahadur, who testified in the murder of his partner Fakkad Baba’s nephew. He attacked his house with the gang, took him to the rugged and brutally beaten and broke his eyes. This incident spread panic throughout the area and gave a new dimension to Kusma’s cruelty.
Revenge of Behmai scandal: In 1981, Phoolan Devi killed 22 Thakurs in the Behmai case. To avenge this, Kusma and Lalaram attacked Asta village in Auraiya in 1984. Kusma, along with his gang, stood 15 seafarers in line and roasted them with bullets and set their homes on fire. This cruel incident gave him the title of “Yamuna-Chambal’s lioness” and strengthened his dreaded image.
