Intermittent rain in Chambal-Bundelkhand provided nectar like water to crops like wheat, mustard, gram, lentils. The weather will change again due to new western disturbance from January 14.

Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal. Due to moisture coming with the winds, there are clouds in most of the cities of Madhya Pradesh. It also rained in some areas on Saturday-Sunday. Due to moisture in the atmosphere, fog and mist also persist. According to meteorologists, due to the advance of western disturbance, there is less possibility of rain.
Due to this, there is a possibility of some reduction in night temperature also. However, fog may persist in most of the districts of the state in the morning for two days. According to the Meteorological Center, the night temperature has increased due to the presence of clouds.
On Sunday, the lowest temperature in the state was recorded in Mandla at 7.5 degrees Celsius. It was a cool day in Umaria. On the other hand, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Sunday, there was seven mm rainfall in Damoh, two mm in Satna and Umaria and one mm in Betul and Rewa.

At present, a Western Disturbance is forming as a cyclone in the upper part of the air in and around Punjab. Due to its effect, an induced cyclone has formed in and around North-Central Rajasthan. Jet stream is formed over North India. Senior meteorologist Ajay Shukla said that there is no possibility of rain in the state.

Although partial clouds and fog may persist due to presence of large amount of moisture in the atmosphere, there will be some drop in night temperatures. On the other hand, due to the activation of a new western disturbance from January 14, the night temperature will start increasing again from January 16.
Intermittent rain overnight in Chambal-Bundelkhand
Gwalior: Intermittent rain continued in Chambal region and Bundelkhand on Saturday-Sunday night. In Morena district where an average rainfall of 4.7 mm was recorded. While Bhind district received 3.5 mm rainfall, Shivpuri received 3.8 mm rainfall. Similarly, in Datia district of Bundelkhand, six mm. And 14 mm in Chhatarpur and Naugaon. Average rainfall was recorded.

Dr. Sandeep Singh Tomar, senior scientist of the Zonal Agricultural Research Center, said that at present the second watering season of wheat crop is going on. The wheat crop has got plenty of water due to the rain. Not only this, for the farmers who have sown crops like mustard, gram, lentils, peas, the rain was like nectar.
According to agricultural experts, oilseed and pulse crops require a total of twice the amount of water. It had rained across the district 10 days ago and the first irrigation of mustard, gram, lentils and peas had taken place. Now these crops have got adequate amount of second water.
