Till now these facilities are available only on the expressway, where these provisions are specially made by NHAI, but now these facilities will also be provided along the highway.
Will be given on lease
On the Gwalior-Shivpuri highway, 86 thousand square feet of land will be developed on lease. For this, the land in Ghatigaon has been identified. Apart from Gwalior, 2.77 lakh square feet of land has been identified at Bhatkheri on NH 52 Bhojpur-Samalikalan highway in Madhya Pradesh.
Focus
In fact, even now people on the banks of national highways operate dhabas, small hotels and shops. On these highways, some facilities are available around the toll plaza, while special care of passenger facilities is taken on the newly built expressway.
In view of this, the focus has now been focused on increasing passenger facilities on the banks of the old national highways. The government will also get revenue by leasing the vacant land on lease. Due to this, this initiative has now been started.
These places have been selected
Gwalior-Shivpuri National Highway No. 46 near Ghatigaon and Bhojpur-Samalaikalan National Highway No-52, along with marking a place in Bhatkheri, as well as in Buzzing West Bengal National Highway No. 19, Panagarh-Palid West Bengal National In Rasulpur on Highway No. 19, Varora-Vani Maharashtra National Highway No. 930 has been marked in Sambal.
At the same time, facilities will also be developed on NH 930, NH 52, NH 161, NH 53, NH 361 in Maharashtra itself. NH 58 has been selected in Rajasthan.

Along with this, EV charging station and 10 to 25 bed -dormitory will be ready. The most special thing about this project is that regional artisans will also be provided kiosks and stalls to promote regional art here. In such a situation, people passing through these national highways will also be able to purchase the artifacts of the region.
Land will be used, passengers will get facilities
Limiting the land on the national highway is used by leasing it and also increases passenger facilities. This is the reason that the National Highway Logistics Management Company of NHAI has started the process of leasing the vacant land in Ghatigaon on the Gwalior-Shivpuri highway. – Prashant Meena, Manager-NHAI, Gwalior
