Ayurveda College of Jabalpur has started working in close work with the Central Ayurvedic Science Research Council (CCRAS) Delhi to do research on psoriasis. This research will run for three years and includes 120 patients. Patients will be given medicines for 180 days and their properties will be studied.

Alok Banerjee, Naiduniya, Jabalpur. The Central Ayurvedic Science Research Council (CCRAS) Delhi has selected four major colleges in the country under the smart project to research skin disease psoriasis, including Ayurveda College in Jabalpur.
Two colleges of the country, including two Ayurveda college in Karnataka, will do research on psoriasis for three years. Experts at Ayurveda College Jabalpur have started completing this research. The patients suffering from psoriasis are being studied on their properties and demerits by giving them 180 days, as well as studying new remedies for psoriasis.
120 patients involved in research
Dr. Pankaj Mishra, Principal investigator led by Dr. LL Ahirwar, Principal of Government Autonomous Ayurveda College and Hospital, Dr. Manish Nema, Senior Research President Dr. Bharti Bisen Bisen Bisen is doing research on patients suffering as assistants.
This research will last three years. The scale of the medicine has been decided according to a fixed guideline. It includes 120 patients. After the medicine given to the patients, they will be screening and at the same time the effect of such medicine will be studied. Then the results of this research will be sent to CCRAS Delhi.
Understand the seriousness of psoriasis
It is a non-infectious disease. Due to the autoimmune condition, it includes the formation of red rashes on the skin and the white layer of skin, itching, the skin formation on the skin. In this, skin cells grow rapidly. Its treatment is necessary, as it can affect certain parts of the skin.

Ayurvedic experts believe that psoriasis is caused by unbalanced vata and phlegm defects. Excessive intake of some foods like toxins, stress, yogurt and salty can also be responsible for this.

In the research work, psoriasis victims are giving a certain medicine under CCRAS proforma, whose dose is prescribed so that its effect can be detected in them.
