Apart from middle class, the government has also announced new schemes for the agricultural sector. Big announcements have also been made for the MSME sector of the country in the budget. The Modi government has also made several announcements regarding the infra sector.

New tax slab announced

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced in Budget 2025-26 that now anyone till earning ₹ 12 lakhs Income tax Will not look Till now this limit was ₹ 7 lakh. Now it has been increased by ₹ 5 lakh. With this, income tax rates in the country have also changed. The Finance Minister has also changed the tax rates.

Finance Minister Sitharaman has said that by giving tax exemption, the government will suffer a loss of ₹ 1 lakh crore in direct tax and ₹ 2600 crore in indirect tax. The government will soon bring a new bill on tax.

New scheme for farmers

The central government is bringing a new scheme for the farmers of the country. The scheme will be implemented in the 100 districts of the country, where the yield is less than the rest of the districts. For this, those districts will work by keeping them in focus. Its name will be Prime Minister Dhanya Dhanya Krishi Yojana. The Finance Minister has said that 1.7 crore farmers will benefit from this.

It will also include already running agricultural schemes. The Finance Minister has said that this will create employment opportunities in the agriculture sector. He said that this migration will remain only as an alternative, not compulsion. In this scheme, focus will be on women and youth.

The government is also gearing up for the production of pulses. The government has said that it will launch a mission for self -sufficiency in the production of pulses. This will be completed in 6 years. It will have the main focus on tur, urad and lentils. Central agencies will purchase the entire yield of these pulses.

The government will set up the Makhana Board for Makhana yield in Bihar. Will organize the farmers of this region and also train them. The government will also increase the limit of Kisan Credit Card from ₹ 3 lakh to ₹ 5 lakh. Apart from this, a new plant of urea will also be set up in Assam.

Delivery boy will also be benefited

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that the government will give the status of labor to the delivery boy (Gig workers) working for other similar companies including Jomato-Swigy. For them, the option of registration in the E-labor portal will be opened.

They will be issued identity cards. Apart from this, they will be given insurance under the PM Arogya Yojana. These steps of the government will benefit more than 1 crore Gig workers. Apart from this, the government will also take steps to protect these gig workers.

Many gifts were also given to MSME

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has also made several big announcements for the MSME region in the budget. It has been announced in the budget that the government will now issue credit cards for micro level traders. It will have a limit of up to ₹ 5 lakh. The government is going to issue 1 million such cards. The government has also decided to change the categories of MSME.

Now the government will consider micro entrepreneurs whose investment will be ₹ 2.5 crore. Earlier it was ₹ 1 crore. Apart from this, the limit of small entrepreneur is increased to ₹ 10 crore to ₹ 25 crore and medium industry limit is increased to ₹ 50 crore to ₹ 125 crore. The government is also going to increase their debt guarantee.

Infra is also emphasized, water life mission increased

The central government has also emphasized on infra. It has been announced in the budget that now the water life mission has also been increased till 2028. With this, the mission of water from 100% tap will be completed. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that 120 new airports will be built in the next 10 years in the country.

These will be made under the flight scheme. This aims to provide air service to 4 crore passengers. Bihar will benefit the most. The government in Bihar will build a fresh airport. Finance Minister has said that Patna Airport will also be expanded in Bihar. The Finance Minister has said that 88 small cities will also be connected by air service under the flight scheme.

The government will give ₹ 20 thousand crore to make small nuclear reactors. By 2033, five new reactors will be operational. Apart from this, investment on road and rail will also continue. The government has announced in the budget that it is going to take steps for the health sector.

Emphasis on education too

The government will create a new infra in 5 IITs created after 2014. With this, 6500 students can be admitted in these IITs and facilities will be provided to them. Facilities like hostels and library will be made under this infra.

The Finance Minister has announced that IIT Patna will also be expanded. He has also announced that 10,000 additional seats will be increased in the country’s medical college. There are plans to increase 75000 seats in the next five years. He has also announced that cancer centers will be set up in every district hospital in the country. This work will be done within the next three years.
