Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the first Mann Ki Baat program of this year. This is the 118th episode of Mann Ki Baat. Actually, the Mann Ki Baat program is held on the last Sunday of every month, but this year because the last Sunday is Republic Day, the Mann Ki Baat program was held today. During this, PM Modi described the organization of Mahakumbh as historic and also congratulated ISRO for achieving success in space docking.
PM Modi talked about the success achieved by ISRO
PM Modi said in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, “As early as 2025, India has made many historic achievements in the field of space. Today, I am proud to say that an Indian space tech startup, Bengaluru’s ‘Pixel ‘ has successfully launched India’s first private satellite constellation – ‘Fire-Fly’, the world’s highest-resolution hyperspectral satellite. This achievement has not only made India a leader in modern space technology, but is also a big step towards self-reliant India. This achievement is a symbol of the growing strength and innovation of our private space sector. On behalf of the entire country, I congratulate the ‘Pixel’ team, ISRO, and In-Space for this.”
Congratulations to ISRO for space docking
Prime Minister Modi further said, “A few days ago, our scientists achieved another big achievement in the space sector. Our scientists have done space docking of satellite. When two spacecraft are connected in space, this process is called space docking. It is said that this technology is important for sending supplies to space and for crew missions. India became the fourth country to achieve success in this.
PM Modi also praised innovators and young entrepreneurs
Praising India’s scientists, innovators and young entrepreneurs for manufacturing technologies in space, PM Modi said, “The ‘Extem’ center of IIT Madras is working on new technologies for manufacturing in space. This center is developing 3D technology in space. -The center is doing research on technologies like printed buildings, metal foams and optical fibres, and is also developing revolutionary methods like concrete construction without water. This research of ‘XTEM’ will strengthen India’s Gaganyaan mission and will also open new avenues of modern technology in manufacturing. All these achievements are proof that India’s scientists and innovators are solving the challenges of the future. There are so many visionaries to give. Today, I wish the scientists, innovators and young entrepreneurs of India all the best.
PM Modi said this on the 75th anniversary of Republic Day
Along with this, PM Modi also mentioned the 75th anniversary of Republic Day. PM Modi said, ‘This time’s Republic Day is very special. This is the 75th anniversary of the Indian Republic. This year, 75 years of the implementation of the Constitution are being completed. I salute all those personalities of the Constituent Assembly who gave us our sacred Constitution.
PM Modi also spoke on Voter’s Day
On National Voters’ Day, he said, ‘National Voters’ Day is celebrated on 25th January, on this day the Election Commission of India was established. Over the past several years, the Election Commission has continuously modernized and strengthened our voting process, thereby empowering democracy at every step.
PM Modi described Mahakumbh as historic
On Mahakumbh, he said, ‘Kumbh’, ‘Pushkaram’ and ‘Ganga Sagar Mela’ – these festivals of ours are the festivals which enhance our social interaction, harmony and unity. These festivals connect the people of India with the traditions of India. He said, “Unforgettable crowd, unimaginable views and extraordinary confluence of equality and harmony, this time many divine yogas are also being formed in Kumbh. This festival is a celebration of unity in diversity. Not only India but people from all over the world gather on the sands of Sangam.” There is neither discrimination nor casteism in this tradition that has been going on for thousands of years. Kumbh connects the people of India with traditions.
An example from Assam was also shared with the countrymen.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned an elephant in Mann Ki Baat. This story of wildlife was from ‘Naugaon’ of Assam. PM Modi made everyone aware of the interesting reality. PM Modi said that my dear countrymen, you must have seen many times the pictures of amazing friendship between humans and animals, you must have heard the stories of loyalty of animals. Be it pets or animals living in the forest, their relationship with humans is often surprising. Animals may not be able to speak, but humans can sense their emotions and body language very well.
