At the age of just nine, Savitribai, tied in marriage, along with her husband Jyotirao Phule, did many big things for social reform. He raised his voice not only for women, but also for those who were considered inferior in the society. He talked against caste-caste, untouchability and injustice done to widows.

She was not from India, but when she came to India for the first time, she fell in love with the people here and decided to spend her whole life here. He sacrificed his entire life for India. Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life to the service of patients and orphans, was awarded the country’s highest civilian honor ‘Bharat Ratna’ on 25 January 1980.

At the time of the Indian freedom struggle, when women used to stay behind the screen, some women fought for freedom by putting their lives. It includes the name of Jawaharlal Nehru’s sister Vijayalakshmi Pandit. Vijayalakshmi Pandit played an important role in fighting for the rights of women. He fought several struggles to empower women. In 1956, he made a lot of effort to enact the Hindu Succession Act. After this, women could get succession in the property of their husband and father. He also led the Sadbhavna Mission visiting China in 1952.
Sarojini Naidu was the first woman governor of the country

Was was a freedom fighter, poetess and the first female governor of the country. She was good in education since childhood. Along with studies, Sarojini Naidu continued to write poems. In 1914, in England, she met Gandhiji for the first time and, impressed by her thoughts, dedicated her life to the service of the country. He participated in many Satyagrahas of Gandhiji and also went to jail in the ‘Quit India’ movement. She was the first woman to become governor after the country’s independence. He took over as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
