The case of the dead body of a woman found in the fridge in Dewas has come to light. The woman was murdered 10 months ago. The blame is on her live-in partner. The accused had kept the dead body in the fridge and ran away. Police have arrested him from Ujjain.

The matter is of Vrindavan Dham Colony of the city. On Friday afternoon, neighbors had complained to the police about foul smell coming from a house. After this, the police reached the spot and opened the room and recovered the body from the fridge.
BNP police station in-charge Amit Solanki said that landlord Dhirendra Srivastava had given this house on rent to Sanjay Patidar in July 2023. Sanjay vacated the house in June 2024, but left some of his belongings in one room, including a fridge. The woman’s body was found there.
The woman’s live-in partner strangled her to death. The dead body was kept in the fridge.
Another tenant was cleaning SP Puneet Gehlod told that Balveer Rajput was living on rent for a long time in the house of Dhirendra Srivastava, living in Indore. Before Balveer, the tenant living in this house had kept two rooms locked. On Thursday, Balveer had opened these rooms and cleaned them. When the fridge was opened on Friday morning, a dead body of a woman was found inside.
Neighbors had complained about the foul smell. The police opened the room and recovered the body.
Ujjain’s Sanjay was in live-in with a woman On the information of Balveer, the police reached the spot and inquired in the neighbourhood. During investigation, it was found that before Balveer, Sanjay Patidar, a resident of Ingoriya Ujjain, lived in the said house. Pinky alias Pratibha Prajapati lived in the house with Sanjay. Neighbors told that no one had seen Pratibha since March 2024. Sanjay Patidar had told that Pratibha has gone to her maternal home. As soon as this was known, a team along with ASP Jaiveer Bhadauria reached Ujjain to arrest Sanjay.
Accused said- was pressurizing for marriage Sanjay Patidar, who was arrested from Ujjain, told that he was living in a live-in relationship with Pratibha for five years. After keeping Pratibha in Ujjain for three years, he brought her to Dewas two years ago. Kept here on rent. Sanjay told that in January 2024, Pratibha started pressurizing him for marriage. He was fed up with her.

Murder by strangulation, room locked The accused told that he planned to murder her along with his friend Vinod Dave, also a resident of Ingoria. In the month of March, Pratibha was strangled in a rented house and the body was put in the fridge. Covered the fridge with a cloth. After collecting the things, the room was locked.
Accused’s friend lodged in Rajasthan jail According to the police, the panel of doctors of the woman will be appointed by the PM. A crime was registered against Vinod Dave in Tonk, Rajasthan, in which case he is in jail. The police there are being contacted. Sanjay will be taken on remand and interrogated. Not much detail has been found about the woman yet. Police is investigating.

The landlord had called to vacate the house The accused used to work in Ujjain district. Then he went to Dewas district and started working there. For the last several months, he had left his job and came back to live in village Maulana. He used to get calls every day from Dewas asking him to vacate the landlord’s house. Even on Thursday night a call was received from the landlord.
On this he said, there is a lot of stuff kept in the room, I am paying you rent. I don’t have space to keep my stuff at home. Till Friday morning Sanjay was seen in the village. A month later, in February, the girl’s wedding is also taking place at his house. Accused’s companion Vinod’s father Manoharlal is a resident of village Sarsana police station Ingoria. Earlier he used to teach in private schools. After that he also left teaching.
