This recruitment will be done on Group C posts, in which separate vacancies have been earmarked for female and male players in various sports like athletics, shuttle badminton, basketball, cycling, kabaddi etc. Interested candidates can check the details by visiting the official website scr.indianrailways.gov.in.
Candidates applying for Grade Pay 1800 must have 10th pass or ITI (equivalent qualification). At the same time, a candidate with grade pay 1900-2000 must have passed 12th. The candidate must have participated in any recognized International Championships/Events (Category A, B, C).
The minimum age of the candidates applying is 18 years. Whereas the maximum age has been fixed at 25 years. This recruitment campaign is being run for recruitment on a total of 21 posts.
Candidates will have to pay application fee for the campaign. The fee for general category is Rs 500. Whereas for SC/ST/Women/Minority/Economically Weaker Section the fee has been kept at Rs 250.
Candidates for these posts will be selected on the basis of shortlisting, document verification and sports performance trial.
