Government of Uttarakhand introduced a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore, 13% more than before – India tv hindi

Government of Uttarakhand Presented a budget of Rs 1,01,175.33 crore for FY 2025-26 on Thursday. This is 13 percent higher than the budget of the previous financial year. While presenting the budget in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in the state assembly, Finance Minister Prem Chand Aggarwal said that the total receipts in 2025-26 are estimated at around Rs 1,01,034.75 crore. It has Rs 62,540.54 crore revenue receipts and Rs 38,494.21 crore capital receipts. He said that the tax revenue of revenue receipts during this period is Rs 39,917.74 crore, including the state stake in central taxes Rs 15,902.92 crore.

24,014.82 crore tax revenue estimates

In the budget, the total estimated revenue from its own sources in the state is estimated at Rs 28,410.30 crore tax revenue Rs 24,014.82 crore and after tax revenue is estimated at Rs 4,395.48 crore. Rs 26,005.66 crore is estimated to be Rs 26,990.14 crore as payment of interest, about Rs 18,197.10 crore on salary allowances of state employees and Rs 9,917.40 crore as pension and other retirement benefits. Out of the total estimated Rs 1,01,175.33 crore, Rs 59,954.65 crore is a revenue account of Rs 59,954.65 crore and Rs 41,220.68 crore is an expenditure of capital accounts.

No revenue deficit

The minister said that no revenue deficit is estimated in the budget of 2025-26, but a revenue surplus of Rs 2,585.89 crore is estimated. In addition, a fiscal deficit of Rs 12,604.92 crore is estimated to be 2.94 percent of the state gross domestic product (SGDP) and is within the specified limit of the FRBM Act. After the budget was presented in the House, the Chief Minister told reporters that this budget is “the approach to fulfill our priorities and resolutions and the blueprint of future plans.”

Budget crossed 1 lakh crore

He expressed pride in the fact that in the silver jubilee year of state building, the size of the state budget crossed one lakh crore rupees. This budget is 13 percent higher than the previous financial year and 24 times the first budget presented in 2001-02 after the state establishment. The Chief Minister said, “We have created this budget keeping in mind the ecology (ecology), economy (economy), sustainable (constant) and involvement (inclusive) development as well as the broad framework of technology and accountability.” He said that in this budget we have established enterprise capital including ‘Riverfront Development Scheme’, operating electric buses and establishment of sports university. Dhami said, “This budget is based on the theme of” innovation, self -sufficient Uttarakhand and Ojaswi Human Resources “. In this, all classes, especially poor, youth, Annadata and Nari Kalyan have been kept in priority. ”
