Varun Sharma, Naiduniya, Gwalior. The Transport Department is stuck on the exemption given under the scrap certificate at the Gwalior Trade Fair. Under the scrap certificate, after 50 percent discount of RTO tax in the fair, the remaining amount was to be given 25 percent on the tax, but the state’s dealers gave a rebate of 75 percent on the total tax itself.
The number of such vehicles is said to be more than a hundred. There has been a stir after the matter came to light. Notices have been issued by the Regional Transport Officer and Registration Officer to the automobile dealers coming to the Gwalior Trade Fair.
Among them, the amount left out of the fixed tax exemption has been sought back. Failure to do so has been warned to revoke the trade license. Automobile dealers have been given three days time by the Transport Department, in which vehicles numbers have also been identified. At the same time, the benefit of scrap certificate is also being given at the business fair to be held in Ujjain.
This is the case
Let us know that this time also a 50 percent RTO tax exemption was provided on the purchase of new vehicle at Gwalior Trade Fair. Under the government’s scrap policy, there is an idea of giving 25 percent discount on purchasing a new vehicle by submitting a certificate of scraped vehicle ie COD. This is 15 percent on a commercial vehicle.
This time, vehicles were sold in the fair this time and there were more than a hundred vehicles which were sold by dealers under the scrap certificate. Now the dealer is registered at the point, then the vehicle dealers themselves send the entire process to the Transport Department for approval.
Here, the vehicles on which the scrap certificate was to be given on the remaining tax after 50 percent discount of the fair, it was given a discount of 75 percent on the total tax first and then 25 percent in this way. It is noteworthy that in the fair, dealers across the state are given a chance, but the number of vehicles is required to take Gwalior RTO i.e. MP 07.
