New Delhi:
On Wednesday, there was a relief news for the world. America and Qatar announced that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire. However, the detailed form of this agreement has not been revealed. But it is being said that this agreement will be of three phases. This includes stopping the war as well as the exchange of prisoners and the reconstruction of Gaza devastated by the war. This agreement is yet to be approved by the Israeli Cabinet. After getting the approval, this agreement can come into effect from Sunday. Even after the announcement of the agreement, Israel has not stopped attacking Gaza. More than 80 people have been killed in the attacks since yesterday. Meanwhile, there is still a big question, the answer to which is yet to come, that is who will run Gaza.
In how many phases will the ceasefire agreement be implemented?
US President Joe Biden announced this agreement before leaving the presidential office. This is being considered a major achievement of his tenure. Giving information about the ceasefire agreement, Biden said that its first phase will be for six weeks. He said that under the agreement, Hamas will release the people held hostage and Israel will release those Palestinians who are imprisoned there. Under this, Hamas will first release 33 people. These will include women, children and men above 50 years of age.

According to Biden, in the first phase, Israeli troops will withdraw from the populated areas of Gaza and Palestinian citizens will be able to return to their homes. With this, the speed of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza will be increased.
Negotiations for the second phase will start from the 16th day of the first phase. This phase will include the release of remaining hostages, a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. This ceasefire will continue as long as the second and third phase of talks continue.
What will happen in the second phase of the ceasefire agreement
The second phase of this agreement will ensure the release of remaining Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. It is believed that Israel can release about one thousand Palestinian prisoners. Israeli officials say that Palestinians serving sentences for murder will not be released in this exchange.

In the third phase of this agreement, the work of reconstruction of Gaza will begin. The reconstruction of Gaza will take place under the supervision of Egypt, Qatar and the United Nations. This work may take several years, because Gaza has been completely destroyed in the war. In the third phase, the bodies of hostages killed by Hamas will be handed over to Israel.
The newspaper ‘Indian Express’, quoting sources, has reported that Hamas has given its written approval to this agreement. At the same time, this agreement also needs the approval of the Israeli cabinet. It is likely to be approved today. Meanwhile, the Israeli Foreign Minister has left his Europe tour midway and returned home.
Who will rule Gaza?

Meanwhile, the biggest question is who will have control over Gaza after the completion of all three phases of this ceasefire agreement. Israel has already talked about the elimination of Hamas. He has said that he will not accept any interference by Hamas in Gaza. Hamas has been in control of Gaza since 2007. He is also against the Palestinian Authority’s rule in Gaza. This authority is running a government with limited powers in the West Bank under the Oslo Accords signed nearly three decades ago. The West Bank is ruled by Israel. Even after the end of the war, Israel wants its military control over Gaza, so that Hamas does not get a chance to flourish again. Therefore, he is discussing a temporary administration with America and Qatar to run Gaza.
