Haryana Election Results 2024: Haryana Assembly Counting of votes has been completed on all 90 seats. Initial trends showed Congress getting the lead, but BJP won and is going to form the government. In this election, at some places grandfather and granddaughter came face to face and at other places grandfather and grandson came face to face. At some places brother-in-law and at other places father-in-law and daughter-in-law were seen fighting tooth and nail to defeat each other. The brother-sister relationship was also seen in the election arena and they were seen trying all tricks to defeat each other.

Thakur Atar Lal contested the election from INLD-BSP alliance on Ateli assembly seat, while his daughter-in-law Sadhna contested against him on the same seat as an independent candidate. This led to a competition between father-in-law versus daughter-in-law.

Cricket administrator-turned-politician Anirudh Chaudhary contested against his own sister Shruti Chaudhary of BJP on Congress ticket from Tosham assembly seat. Shruti Chaudhary is the daughter of late Surendra Singh, younger son of former CM Bansilal and BJP leader Kiran Chaudhary. Whereas Anirudh Chaudhary’s father’s name is Ranbir Singh Mahendra. Mahendra is the elder son of Bansilal. In this way Anirudh and Shruti became cousins.
war between uncle and nephew
Rajesh June is facing Rajendra June (Congress) in Bahadurgarh. Rajesh June contested the elections as an independent. The special thing is that both are uncle and nephew and both were in Congress. But after Rajendra got the ticket from Congress, Rajesh June rebelled and joined the independent party.
brother vs brother
From Punhana, Ejaz Khan contested from BJP and Mohammad Ilyas contested from Congress. These two are cousins. Ilyas and Ejaz are each other’s cousins. In 2019, Ilyas became MLA on Congress ticket.
competition between grandfather and granddaughter
BJP candidate Moolchand Sharma and Congress candidate Parag Sharma, who has a granddaughter in her family, contested from Faridabad’s Ballabhgarh assembly seat. Parag’s father, former MLA Yogesh Sharma, is the cousin of Moolchand Sharma.

In Sirsa, Devi Lal family faced each other on two seats. Grandson Arjun Chautala fought against grandfather Ranjit Chautala for the Queen’s seat. INLD candidate Arjun Chautala is the son of Abhay Chautala. Ranjit Chautala contested the elections as an independent.

Three members of the Chautala family were also in the fray on Dabwali seat. Aditya Chautala contested from INLD, Digvijay Chautala from JJP and Amit Sihag contested from Congress. Aditya and Digvijay are cousins. Sihag appears to be the uncle of Digvijay and Aditya Chautala.
