Golden girl Neha Goyal tied the knot with hockey player Sunil on Sunday night.
Neha Goyal, who was part of the team that won the gold medal in the Women’s Asian Hockey Championship, got married on Sunday night. Hockey player Sunil reached Rajwada Palace in Sonipat with a wedding procession from Karnal, Haryana. After this both of them kissed each other under the open sky.

Both of them dated each other for 8 years. After this, this love cum arranged marriage took place with the consent of both the families. Along with family members, their hockey coach and fellow players were also specially present at Neha and Sunil’s wedding.
During this, Neha said that no matter what the situation is, we should not give up. He said that my mother has struggled a lot for me. If she had given up, I wouldn’t be here today. One should not give up on anything. I got injured, but I didn’t give up. He gave the message that if daughters have any dreams then support them.
Sunil reached Sonipat from Karnal with a wedding procession to marry Neha.
Sunil arrived with the wedding procession at 10 o’clock Neha and Sunil’s marriage took place with great pomp and show. Sunil reached Rajwada Palace around 10 pm riding on a horse carriage with a band. Here Neha’s family welcomed the wedding procession in a traditional manner.
During this, Sunil’s friends and family danced vigorously. After this, the wedding rituals started here and both of them took the vows under the shade of stars. After this Sunil left for Karnal with his hockey player wife.

Hockey stick for good shoes and clothes Neha Goyal’s family members say that the beginning of her life was full of struggles. After the death of his father Umesh, his mother Savitri Devi worked in a factory. To meet the expenses of his daughter, he worked in a bicycle factory. He has 3 sisters including Neha in his family.
Neha took up hockey stick in sixth class. The only joy he had about hockey at a young age was that now he would get good shoes and clothes. However, then coach Pritam Siwach recognized the hockey talent in him. He trained Neha well. After this she was successful in playing hockey up to the international level.
After the death of Neha Goyal’s father Umesh, her mother Savitri Devi supported her by working in a factory. Neha says that if her mother had given up, she would not have reached here today.
Neha met Sunil in Under-17 National Tournament Neha Goyal told that earlier she and Sunil did not know each other that much. But when they went to play in the Under-17 National Tournament, they came in contact with each other. After this, meetings continued in other tournaments.
Neha told that Sunil was very thin in those days. He had also given a nickname to Sunil. She used to call Sunil affectionately as Sukar. He told that he has been in touch with Sunil for the last 8 years and both of them have been talking to each other.
Neha was devastated when she got injured Neha Goyal said that when her leg was injured in 2015, she was devastated. The doctor said that she cannot play in future. Sunil had helped the most during this period.
Neha was taken to the doctor and helped in every activity from physiotherapy to treatment. Due to this nature, Neha’s attachment towards him kept increasing. During the injury, the doctor had advised that there was excessive swelling in the bone. The doctor had asked him to refrain from playing.

Sunil did not give up trying Neha tells that she was heartbroken when the doctor said this, but Sunil did not give up his efforts. Sunil used to take him repeatedly to reputed doctors of Delhi for physio. Took great care of them. After this she became capable of playing in the Indian hockey team.
When I told my love story to the coach, I made him focus on my career. Neha told that after the 2018 Asian Games, she told coach Pritam Siwach about her love story. During that time, his coach Pritam motivated him and asked him to focus on Olympics and other sports. Neha Goyal kept her love story alive along with achievements.

Talked to family after Olympics After the Olympics, Neha talked to her family about her marriage with Sunil. After the consent of both their families, the marriage was finalized. Neha said that Sunil’s nature is very good. He is also very helpful. Sunil works on an audit post in CAG in Kolkata. Neha also works in Railways.
Dream was to marry in a joint family Neha Goyal told that in her childhood she often saw big families in films. Therefore, she also wished that her marriage should take place in a family where everyone lives together harmoniously. Neha Goyal said that today I have got the same kind of joint family that I used to see in films in my childhood.
