In the hearing held on December 30, the court had given 3 days time to the Punjab government to get Dallewal admitted to the hospital. During this, the government had said that a mediator has applied that Dallewal is ready for talks if the Center intervenes. After which the Supreme Court had accepted the application of Punjab Government seeking time.

On Wednesday, Punjab Police officials held marathon meetings with farmers continuously. Officials said that the talks took place in a good atmosphere.

On the other hand, according to the medical bulletin issued by the doctors, Dallewal is also having trouble speaking.

2. Punjab government said- Dallewal’s health is fine. In the hearing on December 18, the Punjab government said that Dallewal’s health was fine. On this the court questioned that the 70 year old man has been on hunger strike for 24 days. Who is the doctor who is diagnosing Dallewal’s health without any test? He was not examined, no blood test, no ECG was done.

3. Why is the Punjab government not shifting to the hospital? In the hearing on December 19, the court expressed concern that Dallewal’s condition was worsening every day. Why doesn’t the Punjab government shift him to the hospital? This is their responsibility. The authorities will take a decision if he needs to be admitted to hospital.

4. Never heard of a movement to stop being taken to hospital The court showed a strict stance in the hearing on 28 December. The court told the Punjab government that first you create problems, then you say you cannot do anything. Shift them to the hospital with the help of the centre. In this, on the protest of the farmers, the court said that it has never heard of any movement to stop anyone from being taken to the hospital. This is like incitement to suicide. What kind of farmer leaders are they who want Dallewal to die? Pressure is visible on Dallewal. Those who are opposing his hospitalization are not his well-wishers.

5. Government asked for 3 days time During the hearing in the Supreme Court on December 30, the Punjab government told the court that Punjab was closed on December 30, due to which the traffic did not move. Apart from this, a mediator has also applied in which it has been said that Dallewal is ready for talks if the union intervenes. After which the Supreme Court accepted the application of Punjab Government seeking time.
