Udupi: A heart-wrenching accident has come to light in Udupi district of Karnataka. The video of this horrific accident that took place in Kundapura Town of Udupi has also surfaced in which a truck collides with an Innova car running in back gear and drags it forward. The video prima facie shows the carelessness of the car driver as he is seen backing the car on the busy highway. Due to the negligence of the car rider, a total of 8 people lost their lives and were seriously injured. Apart from the 7 people in the car, the truck driver is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

According to the video captured in CCTV, the driver of an Innova car was slowly backing up his car in Kundapura in Udupi district when a speeding truck comes and collides with the car. After the collision, the truck drags the car some distance. This horrific accident is captured in a CCTV camera installed outside the temple. It is being told that this car was going from Kundapur towards Udupi with 7 passengers from Kerala. Meanwhile, near the main gate of Chandika Durga Parameshwari Temple, the car driver started turning the car backwards to enter the temple premises.
A speeding truck was coming from Goa
It is seen in the video that at the same time a speeding truck going from Goa to Kerala collided with the Innova vehicle coming from behind. The collision between the two vehicles was so strong that the Innova was completely damaged and the truck overturned. Apart from the 7 passengers in the car, the truck driver was also seriously injured in this horrific accident. All the injured were immediately admitted to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment. The traffic police has registered a case in this matter and is investigating the entire case.
