High Court bans posting-training of trainee SI: Kirori said – Government head’s decision not to cancel SI recruitment, ask him questions – Jaipur News

Rajasthan Government will not cancel Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam-2021. The government has presented its reply in the Rajasthan High Court (Jaipur Bench) on Thursday (January 9).

This case was heard in the court of Justice Sameer Jain. The court has now banned any training-posting in this recruitment. The date of further hearing has been given on February 10, 2025.

Earlier, Government’s Additional Advocate General Vigyan Shah has presented the reply in the court. We have caught the people involved in the paper leak. We also suspended about 40 trainee SIs who were dummies and copycats. At present recruitment cannot be cancelled.

On the government’s reply, Agriculture Minister Kirodilal said that this time the head of the government should ask. Because only the Chief Minister has the right to reject the decision of the committee.

Bhajan Lal government handed over the investigation of SI recruitment exam to SOG only after assuming power. After this, arrests in this case started from April 2024.

High Court asked why not canceling it?

The petitioner’s lawyer said- The court has asked the government why you are not canceling the recruitment? Why are you not taking decisions? It is a public matter. There is so much corruption in this. Now only the court will hear this matter. During the hearing, the court has appointed Additional Advocate General as amicus curiae. The High Court has banned any kind of field posting and training.

On November 18, Rajasthan High Court had banned the posting of selected SI in SI Recruitment Examination-2021. Even after this the government had given posting to the trainee SI. However, within a few days of posting, the trainee SI, who was in SOG custody for more than 48 hours, was suspended.

After the government’s reply in the High Court on Thursday, Kirodilal Meena said that I have been saying from the beginning that the recruitment should be cancelled.

Kirodilal Meena said that the cabinet sub-committee formed by the government had also recommended it. The Chief Minister has the right to reject it. He refused. Because the matter is in the court, I cannot say much. Ask the head of the government.

Regarding cancellation of recruitment, SOG has said, Police Chief has said, Advocate General has said. Now only the Chief Minister can tell whose rider it is. The public sentiment of most people is that the recruitment should be cancelled. Will the man who has been fraudulently recruited maintain law and order?

The sub inspector recruitment exam paper was leaked. In the investigation of SOG, the matter of fielding many dummy candidates also came to light. Investigation has revealed that many candidates have obtained jobs by committing fraud. SOG has arrested about 50 trainee SIs, out of which 25 got bail from the High Court.
