Farmer leaders said that when a person does not get justice from anywhere, his last hope for justice is from the Supreme Court. He said that we have requested the Supreme Court to issue directions to the Central Government to implement the report of the Parliamentary Committee and the interim report of the Supreme Court Committee on the subject of farming.

Central government should hold a meeting with farmers
Earlier on Thursday, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court regarding the farmers’ movement. The court has taken a tough stance on the Punjab government. The top court said that efforts were being made to deliberately worsen Dallewal’s condition. We never asked him to break his fast. The High Court said that your attitude is not to bring about reconciliation.
Some so called leaders are giving irresponsible statements. On the other hand, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said in a press conference in Chandigarh that we are following the orders of the court. Fifty doctors have been deployed to take care of Dallewal. A temporary hospital has been built near the protest site. Our officers are continuously meeting the farmers.
