There is a plan to start a flight from Jewar Airport in UP from 17 April. Now the Ministry of Aviation of Haryana Government has stepped up monitoring about this. According to sources, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has submitted the Action Technology Report (ATR) Airport Authority of India (AAI) of Haryana’s only Hisar Airport.
This report has been submitted on 27 February. Along with this, the Haryana government is constantly in touch with AAI for the license process. If everything goes well, then Hisar Airport can get license this week. After this, the Haryana government can start a flight in the first or second week of April.
Flight will start for 7 from Jewar, 7 from Hisar to 5 places According to airport sources, Hisar Airport may get a license before Jewar Airport. Flights will start from Jewar Airport to 7 places. At the same time, there are plans to start flights from Hisar Airport to 5 places.
Air service will start from Jewar to cities like Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Varanasi, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Mumbai. At the same time, flights will go from Hisar Airport to Ayodhya, Jammu, Jaipur, Delhi and Ahmedabad. While the DGCA team will visit Jewar Airport, the team has visited and submitted the report in Hisar.
Summer schedule of Hisar Airport is becoming Summer schedule is being prepared for air operations of Hisar Airport amid licensing by DGCA. This schedule will be ready by 31 March. The schedule will be applicable from April 1 to September 30.
The flight will be started once a week from Hisar. After this, the upcoming decision will be taken in view of the traffic. The Haryana government has reached an agreement with the Aviation Airlines of the Government of India to fly flights. After getting the license, Aviation Airlines will start the operation from here due to the agreement.
The Haryana government signed an MoU from Aviation Airlines in July 2024 for flight operations.
2 MoUs will be signed for Hisar Airport 42 objections were raised by DGCA at Hisar Airport, which has been removed. There are 8 such points which are yet to be overcome. It has 2 major objections with MoU. The first MoU will be on fire safety.
In this, when there is an emergency, the vehicles will reach the local fire brigade station. Currently, the airport has 2 fire safety vehicles, but this is insufficient. Fire station is present in Hisar, a short distance from Hisar Airport. Second MoU with CMO. The Airport Authority will sign MoU with the CMO in Hisar. With this, emergency services will be provided from Hisar in Emergency.
Central government will take over the airport The central government will handle the first airport in Haryana being built in Hisar. It will be run by the Airport Authority of India (AAI). For this, the airport has been handover to AAI. The biggest impact of this will be that the center will also appoint a job from the airport’s infrastructure, operation and maintenance. The Haryana government will only owe this land.
Earlier, all the development work in the airport was done from the Haryana government itself. The responsibility of its safety will also be with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Currently, 300 personnel of third battalion of Haryana Police are deployed under its protection. Those who can later be deployed outside the gate.
