Madurai: Hindu society and organizations have protested against the allegations of Muslim occupation of the holy Thiruparnakundram hill located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Explain that the ancient Murugan Temple is located on the Thiruparnakundram hill, which is claimed to be established in the 19th century. The Hindu Munnani organization had to get permission from the court for this protest. After getting permission from the court, hundreds of people led by Hindu Munnani gathered on the Thiruparnakundram hill and shouted slogans against the allegations of Muslim occupation.

Protests protested in the presence of 3500 policemen

According to reports, there are allegations that this hill is now being called Waqf property, causing resentment in the local Hindu society. The protesters say that this religious place belongs to the Hindu community and no possession of it will be tolerated. Hindu organizations organized protests in Madurai in the presence of 3500 policemen, who were deployed in the area after the court allowed protests. The court had allowed Hindu Munnani to hold a protest between 5 and 6 pm on 4 February on the Palagantham Gol Paq.

Thousands of Murugan devotees performed

Thousands of Murugan devotees participated in the protest after getting permission from the court. He shouted slogans cheering Lord Murugan. People came from all over Tamil Nadu to participate in this protest, including a large number of women. Many Hindu organizations took part in the protests and shouted slogans against the Islamization of Thiruparnakundram hill. Pictures of this protest of the Hindu community also went viral on social media. Thousands of Hindu community people were seen protesting in these pictures. The protest was also concluded amidst the deadline set by the court.

JPC report will be presented in Lok Sabha

Explain that in the meantime, the report of JPC set up to review the Waqf (Amendment) Bill will be presented in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The bulletin issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat states that the chairman of the committee Jagdambika Pal and member Sanjay Jaiswal will submit a report in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The committee on Thursday submitted the report to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The committee on Wednesday accepted the report by majority, which included amendments suggested by the ruling BJP members. After this, the opposition called the process an attempt to destroy Waqf boards.
