Madurai: Hindu society and organizations have protested against the allegations of Muslim occupation of the holy Thiruparnakundram hill located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Explain that the ancient Murugan Temple is located on the Thiruparnakundram hill, which is claimed to be established in the 19th century. The Hindu Munnani organization had to get permission from the court for this protest. The protesters say that this religious place belongs to the Hindu community and no possession of it will be tolerated. The court had allowed Hindu Munnani to hold a protest between 5 and 6 pm on 4 February on the Palagantham Gol Paq.

JPC report will be presented in Lok Sabha

The bulletin issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat states that the chairman of the committee Jagdambika Pal and member Sanjay Jaiswal will submit a report in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The committee on Thursday submitted the report to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The committee on Wednesday accepted the report by majority, which included amendments suggested by the ruling BJP members. After this, the opposition called the process an attempt to destroy Waqf boards.
