Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda released the first part of the resolution letter for Delhi Assembly elections. In this, under the Mahila Samridhi Yojana in Delhi, it has been promised to give Rs 2,500 per month to women, Rs 500 subsidy on cylinders to poor sisters, one free cylinder each on Holi-Diwali and Rs 21,000 to every pregnant woman. BJP said, “Under the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana in Delhi, every woman will be given Rs 2,500 per month. This scheme will be passed in the cabinet for the first time. Poor sisters will be given a subsidy of Rs 500 on the cylinder. Holi and Diwali But one cylinder will be given free of cost. To give more strength to Matra Suraksha Vandana, 6 nutrition kits will be given and every pregnant woman will be given Rs 21,000.”
Nadda said that after the formation of the government in Delhi, in the first cabinet meeting we will implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme of the central government for those 51 lakh people who were deprived of its benefits during the AAP government. Besides, we will also provide an additional cover of Rs 5 lakh. That means Delhiites will get a total health cover of Rs 10 lakh under Ayushman Bharat scheme.
He said that to make the life of senior citizens simple and successful, our government will increase the senior citizen pension for 60 to 70 year olds from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500. Apart from this, the pension of senior citizens above 70 years, widows and destitute women will be increased from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000.

Voting in Delhi on 5th February, counting of votes on 8th February

There are 70 assembly seats in Delhi, out of which 58 are for general category, while 12 seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes.

In this election, AAP had fielded candidates on all 70 seats, out of which 62 had won. Thus, AAP formed the government by winning with an overwhelming majority.
