How to balance life and work? Amidst the discussion of working 70 hours a week, Gautam Adani gave this mantra

New Delhi:

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has said a big thing about the balance between work and life. Giving the mantra of work-life balance, he said that someone else’s work balance should not be imposed on anyone else. Gautam Adani said that if you enjoy what you do, then you have work life balance.

Gautam Adani said, “All you have to see is that apart from work, if you are spending four hours with your family and you are enjoying it, then you have work-life balance. In such a situation, if someone is spending four hours with his family, You don’t have to start doing the same after seeing that he is spending eight hours. If you enjoy what you are doing, then it is best. Work balance should not be imposed on anyone else. “

He said, “For us it is either family or work, we have no world outside this. Our children also learn by seeing the same, because naturally they have been brought up in the same environment. The next generation is strict about work. Is working hard.”

Regarding his journey, Gautam Adani said that I do not come from a big family background. I didn’t even complete my college studies. I didn’t even know how to speak properly. I came back from the village after studying, however now when I sit alone, I close my eyes and remember my entire journey, how I reached here from there.

This statement of Adani Group Chairman has come amid the ongoing debate on Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy’s advocacy of working 70 hours a week.

Narayana Murthy, founder of information technology firm Infosys, had said that people should work 70 hours a week. He said that only hard work can take the country on the path of progress.

Narayana Murthy questioned the trend of working only 5 days a week instead of 6 days. He said, “I clearly believe that people should work for 70 hours. In 1986, when the six-day working week in India changed to a five-day working week, I was very sad. If we want to develop the country then we will have to make sacrifices rather than rest. We need to work hard in this country. There is no substitute for hard work. Even if you are the smartest person, you still have to work hard.”
