On Friday (March 14, 2025) on the day of Holi in Birbhum district of West Bengal, Islamic fundamentalists attacked Hindus. The case is of Anaipur village in Birbhum district, where Hindus celebrating Dole Purnima and Holi were attacked by Islamic mob. These attacks continued in the presence of police.
BJP national spokesperson Amit Malviya wrote on X, “Hindus were attacked to celebrate Holi in Birbhum! West Bengal is gradually becoming like Bangladesh under Mamata Banerjee’s rule. ” He said that the attack was led by the Panchayat member of TMC. The Muslim mob targeted Hindus at raising the slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and in the video it was heard that they were saying, “How did you dare to raise this slogan?”
Amit Malviya further alleged that the police rescued the attackers instead of protecting Hindus from violence. He said, “Surprisingly, the police was present, yet the attacks increased. In the video, Hindus were seen saying that the police stood and we were attacked. ”

Increased attacks on Hindus in West Bengal
Let us know that the incidents of breaking idols in West Bengal have been continuously coming out. On Friday (14 March 2025), Amit Malviya tweeted that Nandigram Block 2 of East Medinipur district Kamalpur A Hindu temple was attacked in the village. In the video, idols of Hindu deities were seen demolished. He said, “Pooja and Ram Narayan Kirtan were going on there since Tuesday, but some people could not tolerate the name of” Shri Ram “and broke the idols.”
In the video, a man was heard saying, “These are serious circumstances… Police is not doing anything.” A policeman also showed the man who was making a video of the broken idols.
Earlier on March 7, a Muslim man named Sheikh Indu broke the statue of Maa Sheetla in Baruipur city of South 24 Parganas district and set fire to fire.

Pictures of burnt statues and damaged temple went viral on social media. Local people caught the accused Sheikh Indu, who vandalized and arson it. Baruipur police tweeted on March 7, saying that the accused is ‘mentally unstable’ and he has ‘brain trouble’.
