After presenting the general budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a special conversation with NDTV’s Editor -in -Chief Sanjay Puglia announcements. ‘PM Modi himself takes progress report’
Nirmala Sitharaman further said that its advantage was that primary health facilities were improved, mortality decreased, newborn’s mortality also declined, the condition of schools improved. Now they are also taking it to the block level. PM Modi also checks his progress once a month through Pragati Progrome for this. As soon as his (that program) is being done to increase the produce of agriculture and due to this, the work is being done to reduce the pressure on the farmers. Work is being done under this scheme to bring forward the districts which are lagging behind in agricultural production. We are preparing to use high productive seeds and to make farmers aware of new technology to increase production capacity in at least 100 districts as well as to take the minor irrigation. So that the problem of migration is reduced.
‘Youth will give employment in their area’
He said that we want that the kind of industries needed in these areas should be given employment in their area itself. For this, they will also be scored. Doing this, these youngsters will have the option that they will be able to do jobs or employment even by staying in their area. Despite this, if the youth want to leave their village and go to another city, then they can go but our aim is to provide them better employment options in their field itself.
