Hush Money Case: Big relief for Donald Trump before taking oath as President, will not go to jail

Donald Trump Hush Money Case: Sentencing: Donald Trump has been found guilty in the hush money case, but he will neither have to go to jail nor pay any fine. Because he has been elected President of America. On January 20, he will take oath on the highest post of the country.

  1. Donald Trump is soon going to take oath as the new President of America. He has become a criminal even before going to the White House. An American court has convicted him in the hush money case. However, it is a matter of relief that he was not punished. The court acquitted him ‘unconditionally’.
  2. Donald Trump has been found guilty of paying $130,000 in hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet. This is the first time that an American President has been convicted. However, Trump has been calling it a ploy by his opponents.
  3. The matter of relief for Trump is that he will not have to face jail sentence or any other punishment, because he has been elected the President of America. He is going to take oath on the highest post of the country on January 20.
  4. Although Donald Trump could have been sentenced to jail in May 2024 after being convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records, the judge had already made it clear that he would not be given a harsh punishment. If Trump had not been elected President of America, he would have been sentenced to four years. But now he will spend four more years in the White House as President.
  5. Donald Trump did not appear in person at the court proceedings. He chose to be present virtually, even though he knew very well that he would not be sent to jail.
  6. While handing down the sentence, New York Judge Juan Marchan said, “Trump is given unconditional release. This court has never faced such unique circumstances before. Let us tell you that the judge has the power to release the new President of America “unconditionally.” There was no other option but to grant “release”. Any other decision could have created a crisis in the post.
  7. Even before the sentence was announced, Donald Trump had used all his strength to postpone it. Hours before the sentencing, Trump said he believed this entire legal proceeding was really “a blow to the New York court system.”
  8. Trump claimed that all this was done to damage his reputation so that he could lose the election. Trump said that this experience was very terrible for him. During the court proceedings, one witness after another testified against Trump about how he had hidden the hush money given to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election, so that it could not be revealed.
  9. Donald Trump had tried his best to stop the criminal proceedings against him, but then he got a big blow when the US Supreme Court ruled that his sentencing could proceed. But he has been given unconditional release from going to the White House.
  10. Even though Donald Trump has been acquitted by the court, no punishment has been given to him, but it is no less than a black spot on his record. Earlier, questions started being raised as soon as he became the President. Now Trump will take oath as President after 10 days.
