Tim David Is Happy To Be Back In RCB: Australian all-rounder Tim David shared his excitement about re-joining Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and hoped to create exciting memories with the team. Born in Singapore and brought up in Australia, David was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 3 crore in the IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah. Interestingly, he started his IPL career with RCB in 2021, then joined Mumbai Indians the next year. “I’m really excited to play for RCB this year,” David told IANS. “I’ve contacted some friends, worked with some of the coaching staff before and obviously it’s a great ground there, especially the Power For the hitters, so I hope some exciting memories are made there too.” This 28-year-old big hitter has dedicated his career to the 20-over format. He has played for MI Emirates, MI New York, MI Cape Town, Hobart Hurricanes, Lahore Qalandars, Perth Scorchers, Southern Braves, St Lucia Kings and other franchises in tournaments around the world.
Sharing his experience of playing in franchise tournaments around the world, he said, “Now a lot of players are playing in a lot of franchise tournaments, but I think I have played in a lot of them, and probably the most important It’s about how you work with your teammates.” “Sometimes when you’re playing with a new team, you may have new teammates, a new coaching staff, different franchise, and then Obviously the country you are playing in Yes, he influences the circumstances. David, who is currently playing for Delhi Bulls in the Abu Dhabi T10, gave his opinion on the role of the finisher in the T10 format and said, “In T10, look, you just try to score as many runs as quickly as possible So yes, you have early ends of the game; it’s only half overs, so I think it’s good to practice your way of playing according to the format.”
This all-rounder, who made his debut for Australia against India in Mohali, scored 54 runs on 27 balls in his third match in Hyderabad. Revealing his future plans, David said, “I’m going to go back home and play the Big Bash at home for Hobart. So, yeah, it’s really great to play some matches.
