When Sonakshi retaliated, Mukesh Khanna said this in clarification
Shaktimaan i.e. actor Mukesh Khanna is once again seen getting trapped in controversies. Recently, during an interview, Mukesh Khanna took a dig at many stars including Akshay Kumar, Shahrukh Khan to Ranveer Singh. During this, he also targeted Bollywood’s Dabangg Girl i.e. Sonakshi Sinha and made such comments on the actress regarding her old answer on ‘Ramayana’ that the actress could not control herself and took on Mukesh Khanna. Sonakshi responded to Mukesh Khanna by sharing a long note on Instagram and advised him not to question the upbringing of her father i.e. Shatrughan Sinha. After seeing Sonakshi’s attitude, Mukesh Khanna’s style has also softened. He has reacted to the actress’s counterattack on social media.
Mukesh Khanna’s reply to Sonakshi’s counterattack
In a recent interview, Mukesh Khanna had criticized Sonakshi Sinha for her lack of knowledge about the Hindu epic, Ramayana. To which Mukesh Khanna has now responded to Sonakshi’s reaction. Taking to his Instagram handle, Mukesh Khanna made his intentions clear and wrote, “Dear Sonakshi, I am surprised that you took so long to respond. I knew I was displeasing you by taking your name from that incident of the famous Crorepati show. But I had no malicious intention to defame you or your father, who is my senior and I have very cordial relations with him.”

Mukesh Khanna further wrote – “My only aim was to react to today’s generation, which the elders call Gen-G, which has become a slave to today’s Google world and mobile phones. Their knowledge is limited to social interactions on Wikipedia and YouTube. And here I had a hi-fi case of yours that I thought I could use to teach others. Fathers, sons, daughters. To tell them that there is a huge and vast knowledge preserved in our culture and history which every youth of today should know. And I don’t know, but I feel proud of it. That is all.”

He further said- ‘And yes, I regret that I talked about it in more than one of my interviews. Point noted. This will not be repeated. Be assured. Take care of yourself.’
What is the matter?
In 2019, Sonakshi, who appeared in Kaun Banega Crorepati, was asked a question related to Ramayana, to which she could not answer correctly, which became a subject of criticism among many people. After Mukesh Khanna criticized her in his recent interview, Sonakshi took to her Instagram handle to attack him and also raised questions on Shatrughan Sinha’s parenting. However, this is not the first time that he has targeted Sonakshi regarding this matter, he has done this before also, for which Shatrughan Sinha has also targeted him without naming him.
