State Bureau, Naiduniya. Bhopal. Now asphalt will be supplied from tankers with GPS based e-shooting system at the road construction site. Asphalt will be procured from Indian Isle Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum. This process will ensure the quality of asphalt and transparency in construction works.

This arrangement will be such that the tanker at the refinery level will be locked and the transport route will also be defined. After reaching its destination, the tanker will be unlike after entering the OTP received by the concerned Deputy Engineer on mobile.

Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh took this decision in a meeting with departmental senior officials, Indian Isle Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum officials.

He also directed that at the time of supply of asphalt at the contractor’s Haat Mix Plant, the supply will be verified by the concerned engineer from the portal of the refinery. Possible cooperation for adequate amount of asphalt procurement from government refinery companies was also discussed in the meeting.

The new arrangement of inspection, Minister Singh gave instructions to implement the new system for surprise inspection, under which a team of chief engineers will be formed and a surprise inspection of the construction works will be done on the five and 20th of every month.

For these inspections, districts, construction works and inspection teams will be selected on a random basis through software. The Chief Engineers will be informed of the districts two days in advance for inspection, while they will be informed about the inspection work on a day before.

The inspection parties, districts, selection of construction works, etc. will be done through automated software. After inspection, all the parties will upload their inspection report directly on the software with Geotagged Photos the next day.

Samples will also be taken. Samples of materials taken during mandatory inspection will also be taken from selected places on random basis and samples will be sealed with confidential QR code. Prayashalas testing them will get only confidential codes with samples.

The concerned contractor or lab technician will not know from which place the samples are taken from which place? The report after the test will be uploaded directly to the software with the confidential code and the software will decode it and connect it with the related report.

ENC will also have to visit both the prominent engineers of the Public Works Department will also have to visit the districts and inspect the districts once a month. He also said that he himself would review the inspection report once a month. Senior officials including ENC KPS Rana, ENC Bhawan Baghel have been present in the meeting.
