Do this work first

Before deleting the account on the phone, you have to take care of some things. You will be able to delete the account on your phone only when you do not completely stop the financial services taken from this app.

• If you have taken any kind of loan from the phone on the phone, then the loan amount will have to be cleared before closing the account.
• Apart from this, if you have taken a SIP through the phone pay, then first you take out your invested amount.
• Not only this, if you have purchased gold through PhonePe or have started any funds etc., then sell gold before closing the account and turn off the fund.
• Also, you have to unlink all your bank accounts link to PhonePe. Not only this, if you can remove the remaining balance in the phone on the phone, then take it out. This balance will not be used after the account is closed.
• Apart from this, close the active auto-payment service, UPI Lite etc. at PhonePe. Only after doing all these work, you should move towards deleting your phonepe account.

Delete PhonePe Account in this way

• First go to your phone and open the PhonePe app.
• After this, click on the Question button given above.
• The option of profile & payments will be seen on the next page. Click on it and proceed.

• Here you click on the option with My PhonePe profile.
• On the next page, click on the option with My PhonePe Account Details.
• After this you will see three options, of which click on Deactivating PhonePe Account.
• On the next page, you will get two options with Can I Deactivating PhonePe Account Temporary and Can I Close My Account Permanently.
• If you want to close your account completely, then click on the option with permanently.

• The reason for closing your account will be asked here. You click on Deactivating PhonePe Account by giving the reason for closing the account.
• After this, the phone pay bot in the chat window will give some information and ask you deactivate and not deactivate.
• You have to click on Yes Deactivate.

72 hours after doing this i.e. 3 days after 3 days your phone account will be fully deactivated. If you want to keep the account operational, then log in to your PhonePe account within 72 hours. In this way your account will be active again.
