In a conversation with the film Critic Anupama Chopra in the session ‘Jab We Met Imtiaz Ali’, Imtiaz said- I failed in 9th. This was the most important moment of my life. Because, this caused me to face failures and I was able to do everything that wanted to do.
He said- Even big stars are not guaranteed the success of films. Just do your work. Free yourself from the burden of any success and failure. He said- I do not shoot movies in places where food is not good. Because I make movies, so do not lie.
During the session, Imtiaz Ali called the filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra sitting in the audience on stage. Vidhu said that I love the music of Imtiaz’s films.
