The Assam government on Friday (January 10, 2025) directed the state police to take action against financial influencer Abhishek Kar. YouTube has been accused of spreading misinformation in a podcast against tax. Assam DGP GP Singh has clarified that the state’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been asked to take legal action against this person.
Recently a clip of a YouTube podcast has gone viral. Abhishek Kar was the guest in it. In this, he was seen spreading propaganda with the aim of insulting and defaming the women of Assam. Kar said that the women of a village transform men into other creatures and then have sex with them at night. All these tantric activities are done.
A video from a YouTube channel, named Riya Upreti, is in circulation where an individual named Abhishek Kar is seen making unacceptable comments on Assam’s history and traditions.

When this video went viral, the CMO took cognizance of it on Friday (January 10, 2025). CMO wrote on social media site “Appropriate action may be taken against the said person for spreading misinformation.”

In the viral video, Abhishek can be heard talking about Mayong village in Morigaon district of Assam. Abhishek says, “There is a village in Assam. The girls there have achieved so much success that they have the power to transform you into a human being and convert you into a goat or any other animal and at night they turn you back into a human being and have sex with you. Why? Because lots of Tantrik practices, whose roots run from here.”

Abhishek was trying to stabilize what he had heard. She has her own YouTube channel, which has 18.6 lakh subscribers. He uploads videos related to stock market, trading, finance and business. She has 2.9 million followers on Instagram.
Abhishek Kar has come online and apologized after the Assam Chief Minister’s Office directed action. Abhishek said in his video, “I apologize to the public, Assam Chief Minister’s office and every concerned party including DGP GP Singh who has been hurt. “It was not my intention to hurt anyone and I will continue to ensure that such incidents do not happen again.”

Abhishek Kar says that he has not done all this intentionally. He said that he had claimed everything after research. Has also shared a link regarding this in his Twitter thread. He also claimed that he would seriously investigate every aspect before making such a claim.
