China Stabbing Case: A dangerous massacre has taken place in China. The police there have said in a statement that a 21-year-old student killed eight people and injured 17 others by stabbing them in China’s eastern city of Wuxi on Saturday evening. Police said that the attack took place in the evening at Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in Jiangsu province. The suspect was arrested at the scene. At present the police is interrogating him and trying to find out why he killed so many people.
The incident occurred on Monday, a day before the Zhuhai Airshow organized by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA). The driver was identified as Fan (62 years). Chinese police also arrested him today. After this accident the fan went into coma. For this reason, even after being in police custody, he was not shown in the arrest papers.
Police said that now the fan’s life is not in danger, but he is undergoing treatment. He will be prosecuted under Chinese law. At present the fan is admitted in the hospital.
Officials at Zhuhai’s Shang Chong Hospital said they had received some injured people who were treated and released. The video of this incident had gone viral on social media. In the video, dozens of people were lying unconscious on the running track of the sports center.
