The Sindhi community demonstrated and kept the markets closed in protest against the attack on the family of BJP councilor Kamlesh Kalra in Indore. Councilor Kalra has said that if he does not get justice, he will resign from the party and his family will commit suicide.

Naiduniya Representative, Indore. The ongoing dispute between MIC member Jitu Yadav and Ward 65 councilor Kamlesh Kalra is not showing any signs of stopping. Sindhi community has mobilized over the assault on Kalra’s son and mother.
On Tuesday, the society called for a market shutdown in the Sindhi Colony area, after which the shops in the area remained closed till around 2 pm. The community also came to submit a memorandum to the Police Commissioner and BJP City President regarding the matter.
Issued a notice and sought reply
The society has demanded arrest of the accused and strict action. Kalra said that if I do not get justice, I will resign from BJP and my entire family will commit suicide. The BJP organization has issued notices to both Kalra and Yadav and sought their reply within two days.
Misbehavior after entering Kalra’s house
There was no response from either side on Tuesday. The video of the incident that happened four days ago went viral on social media on Tuesday. In the video, a crowd of anti-social elements is seen entering Kalra’s house and misbehaving with his wife, mother and son.
It is noteworthy that on Saturday, 50-60 goons entered Kalra’s residence at Khatiwala Tank and misbehaved with his mother, wife and son. Some people in the crowd had also made a video of Kalra’s son stripping him.

In protest against this, people of Sindhi community called a meeting at Pritamlal Auditorium on Monday night. It was decided to express protest by keeping the markets of Sindhi Colony area closed till 2 pm on Tuesday.
The community also went to meet the Police Commissioner on Tuesday. Sindhi community expressed anger over the incident that happened with Councilor Kalra. The people of the society said that when this can happen to a councilor then how is the common man safe in the city.
If I don’t get justice, I will commit suicide with my family.
After meeting the Police Commissioner, Kalra said that he has been assured of appropriate action. Even after this, if justice is not given, he will resign from the party and his entire family will commit suicide. Kalra told that after this incident the condition of his family is bad. The daughter has left her job out of shame. Son is talking about stopping studies.
Whoever goes right or left will suffer the consequences
BJP city president Gaurav Ranadive said that this matter is in the cognizance of the Chief Minister and the State President. The organization is strict in this matter. He said that BJP is a method of organization. Whoever goes right or left with this method will have to suffer the consequences. Till Tuesday no response has been received from either side.
