IND vs AUS: “Lost the first match by so many runs…” Australian head coach made a big statement, told why he will not give a chance to the top-order batsman in Canberra

India A vs Australia Prime Minister’s XI: Australian selectors have decided not to include any of the national team’s out-of-form batsmen in the Prime Minister’s XI squad against India in Canberra after the defeat in the Perth Test. India defeated Australia by 295 runs in the first test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. After this, the pressure on its top order batsmen has increased before the second Test match starting from December 6 in Adelaide.

Batsmen like Marnus Labuschagne (02, 03) and Steve Smith (00, 17) were seen struggling to score runs in the first Test match. After this, many former players including former captain Michael Clarke had appealed to field these players including Josh English in the practice match before the day-night Test match in Adelaide. But Australia’s team management rejected such appeal.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald report, “Such a decision has been taken because it is important for the players to spend time at home and also the Australian team will be able to assess their Test batsmen before the next match of the five-match series against India.” Don’t want to give a chance.”

Australia’s head coach Andrew McDonald also said that he does not want to send any player from the Test team for the practice match to be held in Canberra. McDonald said, “No, such a thing has not come to our mind. We feel that we have prepared well for the busy summer season. We will prepare well for the Adelaide Test match.”

He said, “We were only thinking about the opening Test match before the series started. You always want to start the summer session on a good note. It is not that you start thinking about the fifth Test match at the very beginning. “Two. Winning is important and we are working on it to get favorable results.” McDonald said, “Initially our entire focus was on the first Test match and you would have seen how we had prepared for it. We were comfortable and preparation is no excuse for our performance.”

Mostly young players are included in the Prime Minister’s XI. Players like Sam Konstas and Matt Renshaw and fast bowler Scott Boland will be included in this two-day match with pink ball in Canberra. The Australian team will gather in Adelaide on Monday, English and Labuschagne will also be included in it. Labuschagne may be in poor form but his record in day-night test matches has been good, on the basis of which he is certain to get a place in the playing eleven.

McDonald said, “The most important thing for us is that we play the way we want to play. We are not considering that we lost the first match by so many runs. It is not a good idea for the next Test match. Doesn’t matter.”
