India is giving digital avatar to 1 crore manuscript, PM Modi said about ‘Gyan Bharatam Mission’: said- Education, skill and healthcare stands with the country

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (March 5) described it necessary to invest in skill development and innovation to speed up employment generation and economic development. He said that India would have to make big investment in AI, medical education, industrial training and urban planning to get ahead in global competition.

Speaking at the budget webinar, the Prime Minister said that the priority has been given by the BJP government to the development and industries of infrastructure, the same priority has been given to human development, economy and innovation. He said that the vision of investment in human resources stands on three columns and that is education, skill development and medicine.

He said that the current education system of India is going through a major change. The results will start appearing in the coming few years. Many efforts such as National Education Policy (NEP) like big steps, expansion of IIT, inclusion of technology in education system, using AI, digitization of textbooks are being done in mission mode.

The Prime Minister said that since the formation of BJP government at the Center in 2014 in 2014 More than 3 crore youth Has been trained in skill development. More than 1,000 ITI institutions have been announced to upgrade and create 5 ‘Center of Excellence’. He said that all this is being kept in mind to meet the needs of the industry.

Referring to the achievements of this year’s budget, PM Modi said that 10,000 additional medical seats have been announced in this budget. There is a target to add 75,000 seats in the next 5 years. He said that the aim of the government is the goal of the government to spread quality medical people and for this, tele-medical facility is expanding in all primary health centers.

Explaining his vision of 2047, PM Modi said that by 2047, India’s urban population is estimated to be around 90 crores. Such a large population requires planned urbanization. For this, the government has taken the initiative to create a Urban Challenge Fund of Rs 1,00,000 crore. This will focus on governance, infrastructure and financial sustainability.

The Prime Minister also pointed to huge possibilities in the tourism industry in India. He said that the tourism sector is likely to be up to 10 percent in the country’s GDP. It will get employment to crores of youth. He said that 50 places across the country will be developed by focusing on tourism. He said that ‘Heal in India’ and ‘Land of the buddha’ Tourists from all over the world are being attracted through the campaign.

He said that India has become the country with the world’s third largest startup ecosystem. For this, the government has taken several steps in this budget. He informed that a fund of Rs 1,00,000 crore has been passed to increase research and innovation. This will increase investment. 10,000 research fellowships have been made in IIT and IISC. This will promote research.

Not only this, Modi said that the work of saving the legacy of the rich manuscripts of India is going on through Gyan Bharatam Mission. Through this mission, more than one crore manuscripts will be converted into digital form. After this a national digital repository will be created, so that scholars and researchers from all over the world can know the historical and traditional knowledge of India.
