Indian Navy Recruitment 2025: The ministry of Defense has issued a notification for 327 different posts of boat crew staff under Civilian Personal Group-C in the Indian Navy. Applications for these posts will be accepted online.
Details of posts
A total of 327 posts will be recruited, including 57 of Sarang Laskar, 192 of Laskar-1, 73 of Fireman (Boat Crew) and 5 of Topas. Get details of the vacancies prescribed class wise from the notification issued.
Educational qualification
With the tenth pass from the recognized institute or board for the post of Sarang Laskar, you can apply for the receiving of Sarang Certificate issued under the Inland Ship Act 1917 or Merchant Shipping Act 1958. The candidate should have two years of experience in the form of sarang-in-charge of a registered vessel of twenty horsepower. With the tenth pass for the post of Laskar-I, there should be one year experience in swimming information and registered ship. Age limit
The age of the applying candidate should be between 18 and 25 years. Reserved category candidates will be given exemption in the maximum age limit as per rules.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, skill test, document verification and medical examination. The written examination will be of 100 marks, in which a total of 100 questions related to knowledge in general intelligence, logic and numerical qualifications, English language, general awareness and relevant fields will be asked. Pay scale
Under Pay Matrix Level-4 for Sarang Laskar posts, Rs 25,500 to 81,100 per month and for other posts for other posts, Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 per month pay scale is prescribed under Pay Matrix Level-1.
